As far as references, I brought a printed list to my interview and one
actual written reference. They didn't ask for them, but I gave them
anyway! I would say, if the application says to include the
references, and you want to provide them at the interview, just make
sure you state that in your cover letter. Remember, you can ask people
to give you either a written reference or just a phone reference. For
mine I just brought one written one and three phone references printed
out.
