Hi everyone,
I pulled up my transcript on Webadvisor and it shows the fall grade,
but at the bottom it says that it is only 50 credits. When I count
them up, however, it's 53. One of the practicum's has a "Y" listed in
the Repeat column, (I assume b/c it's the same course number for
summer and fall). Does anyone else have this problem?

Lori,
This happened to me too. I emailed Dr. Larrivee about it and she said
she would look into it. It appears that the practicum course is
'repeated' and thus credited only once.

I have cc'd her here so that she knows others are affected.

I wonder if this means that our transcripts with 'degree awarded'
stamps will be postponed in mailing...

Hi Lori,

I found the same thing on my transcript, and called the Registrar yesterday. The woman I spoke with said that the computer must have picked up on the duplicate "991" in the course numbers, and therefore considered one section a repeated course. I assured her that they are indeed 2 separate courses, and so she was going to pass the info. along to the Registrar. She said to re-check BlackBoard in a few days for the correction. Soooo... I'm not sure if everyone will need to do this- most likely, if I had to guess.

Also, Lori- I wanted to thank you for the list of everyone's place of employment, and congrats to all who have found a job!! Like Erin, I too am still looking for "that perfect job."

Good luck to all, and I hope this helps!
Nicole

Hi Julie,
For some reason, the students who graduated in December 2008 did not receive course credit for their second CD 991 section.
Our graduate students need to take CD 990 a minimum of two times followed by CD 991 a minimum of two times.
This has never been a problem with multiple takes of CD 990. Perhaps because CD 991 is a newer course?
Can this be fixed?
Thank you,
Linda
