Hey guys!
I hope everyone's doing well and enjoying the Christmas season! I have a question about Licensure. Has anyone sent out their MA Licensure stuff yet? OF course I've procrastinated and went to do it today and then noticed that I need to sign in the presence of a notary and attach a picture of myself. Did you all do this? I'm not sure how to go about all of that, (or what a notary public is (: ) I'll be honest. If anyone has any advice, or ideas, letme know. Thanks!
Liz

Hi Liz,
I sent in my stuff already. I have a TD Banknorth account and brought my paperwork to the bank. I got a passport photo done and attached it to the paperwork before I had the notary public see it. I got my photo done at CVS in Tatnuck square. I'm not sure if all banks have a NP, you could call and ask. Don't sign the application until you are in front of the NP though. They'll most likely ask to see an ID and that's all you should need. You also shouldn't have to pay to have them sign. Hope that helps. Where did you end up getting a job?

Liz,
Just go to any bank. They all have notary publics and will just check your ID that "you are you", watch you sign, and then sign and stamp the document.
