I'm learning as I go...!

From within the Group Settings, I've updated the box to:
"Users decide where their replies are sent" to the Group Settings in
order to streamline this process. Example is here:

Replies to messages
Replies are sent to the whole group.
Replies are sent to the author of the message.
Replies are sent to the owners of the group.
Users decide where their replies are sent.

Additionally, in your own membership settings..."Edit my membership",
please make sure you have the proper box checked for receiving emails
as 'Abridged' (i.e, one email, max, per day) or 'No Email'
or...however else you choose to receive emails. The list, copied from
the relevant page, follows:

How do you want to read this group?
No Email - I will read this group on the web
Abridged Email (No more than 1 email per day) - Get a summary of new
activity each day
Digest Email (Approximately 1 email per day) - Get up to 25 full new
messages bundled into a single email
Email (Approximately 3 emails per day) - Send each message to me as
it arrives

I suspect that by pursuing this path, we can each contribute how we
choose and receive email notifications, or not, how we individually
choose. Yes, I recognize that it takes a bit of personal management
to straighten all of this out...thanks for your patience, contribution
and commitment!
