Hi friends,
This Sunday is the first annual Georgetown Criterium! If you don't know what a criterium or "crit" is, well, it's bikes going fast on a short, closed circuit, also known as tons of fun to watch! There is a BEER GARDEN and all the proceeds go to helping KIDS with CANCER. Best of all, you can come watch and cheer for me as I attempt to not suck at crit racing! It is an actual scientific fact that hearing people cheer your name makes you go faster! I am counting on you!
I know it ain't slow, but it is Sunday and it's perfectly timed and located for y'all to do your normal Sunday meet up and cruise thing. My race is at 3:35 PM and lasts an hour. Then after me is the Men's Pro field and those guys actually go so fast they break the sound barrier. Literally. Also, sometimes there are spectacular crashes. Carnage! And did I mention there is BEER?
Don't hate on kids with cancer. Come watch me race my silly plastic bike in my silly spandex costume and heckle mercilessly! DOOOO ITTTT!
See you Sunday!
