Hey there --
I just wanted to put out a couple of things happening this weekend
that might appeal to you. First, I'm throwing together a picnic at
Volunteer Park tomorrow, from noon til whenever we get too tired to
stay. Well have yummy salads and picnic foods, cookies, etc, oh and
beer and tasty adult beverages in water bottles... And croquet!!
You can bring something to share (food/drinks or outdoor games), or
just show up and spend a lovely day in the park with us! Don't forget
sunscreen!!
And on Sunday, Maria has proposed a bike / bus ride up to a distillery
that makes a
blueberry brandy.

We should meet a little earlier, since this will be a longer ride. So
how about meeting at about 11am and departing by 11:30, at Cal
Anderson. we can stop for food along the way, and perhaps take the bus
/ light rail home, depending on how tired we feel at the end of the
day...
Hope to see you somewhere out & about this weekend!
Cheers,
Sylvie

"The bicycle is just as good company as most husbands and, when it
gets old and shabby, a woman can dispose of it and get a new one
without shocking the entire community." — Ann Strong, Minneapolis
