I am terribly sorry to hear that. My thoughts are with you and if I see anything I will be sure to let you know.

Dear Friends,

I am sad to announce that after 16 fun years, The Spin Cycle will be closing the doors and going out of business. We do not know our last date of business, but it will be by the end of this month.

It's a real shame - good shop and a good crew.  I hope things work out okay for all of them.  Wonder what brought this on, winter is always tough for bike shops, maybe not a good holiday sale season?

i think the overall economy is to blame, people are afraid of losing their job so they aren't going to spend money on a hobby when they might need that money if they are unemployed.

also, performance being a couple miles away, csh opened a second store in apex, bicycle chain opend in apex, suddenly, cary and southwest wake county goes from 2 or 3 shops to 5 or 6, bad situation

I went by there this morning, lots of people coming by looking for the deals and to thank Kevin and staff for all they've done.

I thought about going, but didn't want to get depressed so I stayed home.
