Just want to say I had a lot of fun!  It was a bit windy and I did feel it in the knee toward the end of the ride shotwell is a bit hilly and it was really windy on the return thus I did use grandma gear and took it easy on the knee.  Scott was wondering where I was.  Had a lot of fun the pic are great.  Got some needed sun on the legs also.  Gregg I did not realize we dropped you I thought you wanted to go that way?  Well I am sorry if we did we took the back roads pritchard to shotwell back to clayton.  Got home before 2pm that was the goal.  Mike that performers Name was Jessie Cook.

Thanks for the fun ride
Gloria

No problem, I think I sort of intentionally dropped back so I could just poke along.  I certainly didn't feel like you guys were throwing me under the bus. I just needed to back way off and it would have been ridiculous to expect you to slow to my pace so close to home.

Also, when riding in groups on roads as busy as covered bridge, I think it is best to stagger each rider at about 100 feet or more so motorists can 'hedge hop' from 1 rider to the next without trying to pass a whole pack in one potentially risky move. It's a safety thing. Few heed my brilliant theory, even folks who ride in groups that are way more organized than us.

Had a great time.

Oh well, overshot the size limit on that song.

Jesse Cook is fantastic - you were very lucky indeed.
I only recently learned about him and had no idea he was in Clayton!  I would have gone to that in a heartbeat.
I attached an mp3 of a song of his - it is 7MB - hope it gets through.
