I am thinking of a 40 to 50 miler Saturday.  I am kind of sick of cold.  Is there interest in an an afternoon ride?  Looks like temps in the 50's from noon to 5.

I can go from about 11 am to 1 pm, got stuff to do tomorrow afternoon and don't want to be exhausted.

OK 11 to start.  I want more miles than we can get in 2 hours, so maybe we route nearby or at least north of 42.  Maybe we head out Shotwell then aim towards Buckhorn.  You turn around when you need to, then me and whomever else figure out how to finish.

I will leave off the rocks, unless you want to match me on that.

I am debating whether to make up a lie and say I am bailing out because it's too cloudy or to tell the truth and say that I just woke up and can't get my act together.

I got a new assignment at work and my reaction to stress is to sleep more (no, not on the job...welllll there was that ONE time.) Hope that goes away next week.

I may ride a little this afternoon. Have a great time.

It was gray, but it was good enough.  Positively balmy compared to many days in recent memory.

Mike and I headed down to Selma and had coffee at a German restaurant (complete with accented person).  Coffee weak, nice place though.  Then we headed down to West Smithfield and Mike continued is comparison of chilli from Wendy's.  Then back to the Coffee MiIl for a 35 mile round trip.  That made it 47 miles for me.   It was sprinkly on the way out, but otherwise not too bad.

We didn't work all that hard, I guess we averaged 12mph.

I will probably try for a 60 miler next weekend.
