Slow Food Grinnell shutting down

The board of Slow Food Grinnell has determined that after five years we have been unable to build a sustainable leadership team and have elected to shut down the organization. We have returned the contents of the treasury to Slow Food USA and are in the process of completing our end of year paperwork and shutting the organization down. I'll miss the organization, but it's time to pack it in. We've had some good events and done some useful work, but none of the current leaders have been able to give the organization what it needs to be sustainable.
