There will be a yoga class taught at Grinnell Heritage Farm on June 27th to benefit Slow Food USA and Practical Farmers of Iowa. The class will be followed by a potluck supper. We encourage you to join this unique event.

Hi Jordan!

I just wanted to send you the info on the fundraising yoga class Jeanelle is teaching June 27, 6 – 7:15pm, at Grinnell Heritage Farms (weather permitting; rain site is Studio Z). I’m going to have posters to put up this week, but I thought I’d email you the poster and you could pass the info along to the Slow Food folks here in Grinnell? Jeanelle thought it would be fun to do a potluck picnic afterwards, too!

So following is some text I sent out to some yoga folks in town, but if you want to use it to send to the local foods people here in Grinnell that would be great! Jeanelle is a wonderful person, and I think anyone, yoga experience or not, will enjoy the class with her. I am going to bring mats from Studio Z.

I just wanted to make you aware of a special fundraising yoga class that will take place on the evening of June 27, 6 – 7:15pm at Grinnell Heritage Farms (weather permitting; rain site is Studio Z). Jeanelle Boyer, a yoga instructor from Iowa City, is running across Iowa to raise money for Practical Farmers of Iowa and Slow Food USA. She is going to teach yoga along the way, and all donations will go to those two organizations. Also, we are hoping people will bring food to have a picnic afterwards!
