Vladimír Lackovič will discuss why Slovakia has emerged as a competitive investment destination in Europe, with a focus on its industrial strength, skilled workforce, reliable energy mix, and direct access to the EU market. He
will examine the automotive sector as a core pillar of the Slovak economy, and as a foundation for advanced manufacturing, R&D, and supply-chain innovation. The talk will also highlight current investment trends and practical opportunities for international
companies considering expansion into Central Europe.
Vladimír Lackovič is the Special Representative
to the United States for Trade and Investment at the Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency (SARIO), where he works on attracting foreign investment and supporting Slovak companies expanding into the US market. He brings over 15 years of experience
in international business development, technology, and public-private collaboration. Prior to his current role, he spent a decade as a co-founder and managing partner of Digital Natives Group, a New York–based digital agency working with major US and global
brands. He also served as president of Slovak PRO, leading its growth from a New York-based initiative into a national organization spanning multiple US cities. He holds a Master of Global Affairs from the Fletcher School at Tufts University, and a Bachelor
of Business Administration from Baruch College (CUNY).
