Thats about what I Paid for a case lot on Ebay 12 months ago......5.00
per single is a good buy if the shipping isnt like 4.00 per car.
You can ship a case of 12 JL for around 3.50 -4.00 1st class most
anywhere in the lower 48.....30 -35 cents per car shipping makes these
a good buy.
If like alot of ebayers they want 10 bucks a case or more shipping
well, Ive never agreed with shooting out a low ball price & building
all of the ebay fees Plus some profit into a shipping rate.... and
dont I personally do not purchase from those who use this
practice....Ive seen some put 15.00 shipping on 1 slot car..The bad
news is some people do not seem to care making ebay less and less
appealing.......This may be a viable alternative but I would sure like
to see what the shipping charge is for a case and for a single
car........
Without this information the Ad is like the ad for a vehicle in the
newspaper that says 2001 Red Chevy for sale call #########....Car?
Truck? Miles? Shape? Price?..Chances are you'll skim right over that
one........Oh, wait a minute, whats a series 7.......Car? Truck?
Chevy? Mopar? Ford? For those of us who Do not get the Johnny
Lightning catelog this info might be good. LOL ( i actualy bought
the mopar collection on a whim just because it was THE MOPAR
COLLECTION..I may be into 1/32 but I'll still buy an HO Slot if i like
it :o)

"just because it was THE MOPAR COLLECTION" - There is no better reason. I
just got burned on an eBay deal. I bought two 1/32 scale model kits, from
the same guy. He charged ten dollars shipping on each and refused to
combine shipping. The postage was $3 and change. So, he gets $17 to put
the kits in a box with some newspapers? Outrageous.

Thats exactly the kind of stuff i am talking about Steven. Thats why I
always clarify with a seller what there terms are IN ADVANCE.

When you find a good ebay dealer, try to use him for most of the stuff
you want IF you are inclined to use Ebay.
For 1/32 I use Nick at Nicdeals alot, WHY? Because He's Fair, Up front
And he rewards loyalty here and there once youve bought enough,( and
he packs really really good too),,All you got to do is start a
dialogue with him and he'll remember who you are AND what you bought
too.
I do deal with 1 or 2 others but only if Nick doesnt have it and
doesnt know When or if he can get it.
I highly reccomend him as not only a good dealer, but a pretty dang
good guy too :o)

I used to buy cars from a guy in England named Dave Cheeseman. His prices
were always great (even with shipping from the UK), the cars were as
advertised, and he responded to emails. It's too bad there aren't more
private dealers like that.
