All of the events this year will start in either Morro Bay or San Luis Obispo
Registration for all the posted events are now open and there are no rider limits.
The Jan/Feb/March rides are the same as the 2023 ones except hopefully without the re-routes due to closed roads which means they will be somewhat different as we had way too many re-routes last year.
The May 300k/400k/600k will be Mostly SLO routes we did in 2022, these were originally scheduled for April 27th in the RUSA calendar but I moved them so I can do a ride in Europe. For those that are wondering I plan on running the Pinnacles 600k again but not until 2025 (i.e. every two years).
Jan 13 – San Simeon Coastal 102k (RUSA)

Feb 3 – Morro Bay Almost Tepequest 200k (ACP)
Feb 3 – Morro Bay Tepusquet 300k (ACP)
March 23 – SLO North County 200k (RUSA or maybe ACP) - New for 2024
March 23 – SLO North County 300k (ACP)
March 23 – SLO North County 400k (ACP)
May 11 – Mostly SLO 300k (ACP)
May 11 – Mostly SLO 400k (ACP)
May 11 – Mostly SLO 600k (ACP)
May 12 – Mostly SLO Day 2 200k (ACP) - New for 2024
Also planning a gravel weekend sometime in late May or June. Hopefully I will get these dates nailed down in the next month or two once I finalize my other trips for the year. These didn’t get run last year due to all the flooding and damage to the gravel roads but I’ve got my fingers crossed that we don’t have the same problems as last year
May/June Saturday - Gravel 200k (RUSA) – not yet on calendar
May/June Sunday - Gravel 100k (RUSA) – not yet on calendar
I’m also considering putting on a Rouleur Week possibly in late Oct or early Nov of 2024. I’ve ridden a couple of brevet weeks and really enjoyed the ones where we had more time to socialize with other randonneurs and it seemed like a week doing Rouleur events would still have lots of riding but more time to socialize/recover. Thinking about starting on a Sunday and finishing the next Saturday. Essentially over the period of 8 days there would be at least 5 events (3 pops, 1 brevet and 1 8 hour dart) but probably a few more so you can choose which days to ride and maybe a few gravel alternatives. Let me know if that is something that would interest you and when you would like to see this. The reason I’m considering Oct/Nov is that I think it’s the nicest weather period in SLO/Morro Bay with average temperatures 50 low / 70 high.
If you noticed that on the RUSA site I had a 200k/300k listed on Jan 27th that was there in case I had to be gone on the Feb3 weekend but that is not going to be the case so I got those removed.
Thanks
