Hi Grant...is there any possibility of getting more SLO permanents up and running? I did a couple of them earlier this year and they are great even if we’re in lockdown. :-)

At this time, is there any anticipation for a change to the current brevet
schedule? I see there is a 200K scheduled for January 9th. Is this still
planned to take place?

Thanks,

Totally agree that the permanents are a great way to get out and ride given the current situation.  A few more of the resubmitted original ones have been approved so there are currently 6 to 7 depending on what you count as the SLO area.  Hopefully we will have some additional permanents soon, I've just submitted a new 101K one that goes through Morro Bay, MDO, SLO and Cayucos.  I've got a couple more that I'm working on as I'm going to attempt  a K-Hound again this year and I'm assuming I won't be able to travel to other brevets for a while so I'm going to add additional ones for some more variety.  Any distance / start location in particular your looking for?

Thanks

Nope, no preferred distances but more rural the better. I've ridden most stuff Vickie put up but missed out on the Needles 600k run. Rural seems to have nicer drivers than the coastal stuff. :-) Are you ever in contact with Vickie? I've not heard from her in a long while.

Hi Michael!
Happy new year, can't wait for the vaccines to take hold and help return life to .... well , life.   I last rode on Super Bowl Sunday in Deb Banks 100k in Sacramento. Then I pinched a nerve to my right arm and couldn't ride, and covid took care of going anywhere.  (Never been sick, knock on wood).  Hoping to ride across country in May & June, and see my two daughters, in Albuquerque and Virginia.  And ride wome perms at least.  Take care, good to hear you are pulling through.
Vickie
