SLO Randonneur Calendar for 2027 - Preliminary

This is the preliminary plan for the 2027 SLO Rando Season

Most of the events this year will start in either Morro Bay or San Luis Obispo except the 600K as we should be running the Pinnacles route which starts in south San Jose assuming we get enough volunteer help to run the ride.

There most likely will be a rider limit on the 600k but if we get enough volunteers we try to increase it from previous versions.

Jan 1 - New MB 100k route that heads south down towards Pismo
Jan 2 – Morro Bay Coastal 102k (RUSA) - or small variant
Jan 2 – Morro Bay Coast new variant (ACP) -new route
Jan 3 – High Mountain 120k (RUSA)

Jan 30 – Morro Bay Almost Tepusquet 200k  (ACP)
Jan 30 – Morro Bay southern 300k variant (ACP) - new route
Jan 31 - Bull 200k (ACP)
Jan 31 - Baby Bull (RUSA) 

March 27– A North County 200k variant (ACP)  - new route
March 27– A North County 300k variant (ACP)  - new route
March 27– A North County 400k variant  (ACP) - new route

April 24 - Pinnacles 600k - Similar to 2026 but possible different route through Santa Barbara and the end hotel.  new route

The website still needs to be updated for the 2027 season. It will be at least a month or two until registration opens for the rides. I will send out a additional email to this group with details about getting on list to ride or volunteer for the Pinnacles 600k. Given that it's a PBP year I expect the interest level to be high for the 600k in 2027.
