A reminder that the entry for the new 300K (Morro Bay - Southern Canyons) closes on Thursday (3/11) at midnight.  The weather is looking good with lows in the mid 40's and highs in the mid 60's.   The two counties we are going to be riding through are  in much better shape in terms of COVID but given the current conditions we will still be following our pandemic plan for this ride. 

As I noted in my last update the start location for the 300K/400K on April 17th is going to be from the new Calle Joaquin Park & Ride Lot between Taco Temple and Hampton Inn so if you need a hotel any in that area will work (i.e. Motel 6, Rose Garden, Hampton Inn, etc).  I'm just finishing the route for the 600K and my current plan is it to also leave from this location so the same set of hotels should work for that ride.

Perms

In the last couple of months we have added a few new routes in the area.  The first is a nice ride that goes from Morro Bay through SLO and up to High Mountain.  The second is a similar ride from Morro Bay through SLO up to Huasna heading  back through Arroyo Grande on the way through SLO.  There are a number of controls on each ride that allow for various start locations. 

I'm planning on submitting more perms to try to cover more of the roads and towns in the region.  Let me know if there are specific areas or start locations that you would like to see.
