Hi Louis, I have inflow on premise which I love. I have it integrated with Shopify. If I continue to use this past 2024 July will the integration shopify continue to function?
Thanks for your time.
We use inflow on premise for one process, and inflow cloud for another. We have been big supporters of your system for well over 10+ years. Will our inflow on premise still be working after 31st July 2024? We understand you will not support it, but we recall purchasing a license that was a one off payment at the time and it would run forever.
With this release we have improved the way inFlow imports your information from outside sources, it will even confirm changes made during the import. What's more, you can now import inventory levels and choose whether to add them to the current stock, subtract them or completely replace the information currently in the system. We've added three new reports to the reporting module and sped up daily operations. When transferring stock you will now have the ability to add by location and there is now a tool which allows you to right click on a table item and choose "fill down" to quickly change many items in a table (eg. when choosing the location from which to pull your inventory during a sales order).
First off, this new version requires you to select a currency from inFlow's existing list of currencies (previously it would default to your Windows settings). If you're using a currency that inFlow doesn't yet support, send us an email to sup...@inflowinventory.com and we'll get you set up within a few days.
I was trying out InFlow Inventory based on a recommendation from someone at Intuit (the Quickbooks Inventory system is much too expensive). I need to manage inventory of supplies in my warehouse and trucks but the software is so frustratingly sloppy and has a bug that makes it unusable. When I try and run a count sheet for my warehouse it doesn't include items with a zero quantity. When I change the setting to include zero quantity items for a specific location it includes every item for ALL locations which almost triples the size of my count sheet.
inFlow designs software for small businesses including retailers, online merchants and distribution businesses. inFlow is available as an on-premise solution as well as a cloud application that can be installed on any number of computers for complete integration. The cloud application can be accessed from any type of device including smartphones and tablets. iPhone and Android apps are also available that allow users to use their cell phone as a barcode scanner, allowing for each check in and check out of all inventory products. inFlow currently offers three editions, suitable for the smallest business to enterprise level organizations.
inFlow Inventory can track both retail inventory as well as internal business assets. Entering an inventory product is easy, with users able to add each product to a pre-defined category. Custom details can be added for each product, which is helpful when tracking internal assets such as equipment and machinery. Users can choose the default location for the product and add additional locations as needed. Users can also assign a default vendor to each product, which can be useful if utilizing the automatic reorder feature, which will kick in when stock drops to a specified level.
Mentioned earlier, inFlow supports multiple warehouses, and supports both multiple currency and multiple languages as well. A fully customizable dashboard helps users track a variety of data including top performing items, inventory value, cash in/out, and sales, cost, and profit totals. Users can add custom fields for additional tracking capability, and field names can be easily changed to better track data.

Users can download any new products files from the support page or access the inFlow blog if desired. A Quick Start PDF document is available to guide new users through initial setup and there are a variety of articles available in a wide range of categories including General, Troubleshooting, Sales, Inventory, Purchasing, and Barcoding. System support is located in Toronto, and is offered during regular business hours, with users able to request a callback, email a support request, or request support via chat.

The inFlow dashboard offers users detailed information including sales completed, cost of goods sold, outstanding sales orders, number of products to reorder, work orders, and count sheets. To make it easier to track assets, users can customize some of the field names in order to better track asset management, including tracking.
inFlow offers solid reporting options with a variety of inventory reports available, including an Inventory Summary, Inventory Details Report, Historical Inventory, Estimated Inventory Duration, and Count Sheet Report. Users can create and save custom reports using the My Reports option. A variety of other reports are also available, including Customer, Sales, and Purchasing Reports. Along with robust inventory management capability, inFlow also includes Sales and Purchasing modules. Users can import and export data such as product, customer, and vendor data via CSV files. The latest version of inFlow offers integration with both Magento and Shopify, so users can easily integrate their online store with their brick and mortar stores as needed. For those not using Magento or Shopify, web orders can be downloaded and imported into inFlow. The product can also double as a point of sale option for retailers that are not handling a high number of sales transactions.
