Unix Administration and Support

These UNIX support positions will be supporting multiple departments in
the College of Engineering at Cal Poly. These departments include the
Advanced Technology Lab, Aerospace Engineering, and Materials Engineering
departments. This position is a great opportunity for students to gain
real life experience in supporting clients and industry within the UNIX
framework.

Job Description:
Responsible for administering Unix servers and workstations. Tasks include
monitoring, troubleshooting and administrating the performance of the Unix
server platforms.

Supported systems include: Sun Solaris, SGI IRIX, and Linux.

Salary/Schedule: $10.00 base starting salary (range $10.00 to $13.10).
Base salary based on knowledge and background. Students are required to
have at least 4 quarters remaining at Cal Poly, and must be willing to
work during summer quarter and quarter breaks.
