Zoomlion ties up with Universal for marketing and distribution

Bangalore, 26 November 2011: Zoomlion Heavy Industry Science and
Technology Development Company limited who recently acquired CIFA,
Italy and are one of the biggest construction equipment manufacturing
company in the world has chalked out aggressive growth plans in India.
Zoomlion has tied up with Pune based Universal Construction Machinery
and Equipment Ltd. for distribution and marketing of its concrete
pumps . Universal will be responsible for sales and service of
Zoomlion concrete pumps in India.
This announcement was made on the sidelines of EXCON 2011 exhibition
at Bangalore.Zoomlion has the world’s most complete product chain for
construction machinery. The product range includes concrete machinery,
mobile cranes, environmental and sanitation machinery, construction
hoisting machinery, road machinery, earth working machinery, port
machinery, and special vehicles and so on. The product domain includes
13 categories, 28 series and more than 415 varieties of
products.Speaking on the occasion Mr. Ranjeet More, Managing Director,
Universal Construction Machinery and Equipment Ltd said “we are proud
to be associated with Zoomlion, which is the leader of concrete
machinery in the world. Universal has a strong and robust
infrastructure with more than 75 dealers across India. We are also
strong in rural areas where we have regular training programs and
seminars and a lot of entrepreneurship development initiatives.

provide Zoomlion the best of Marketing, distribution and after sales
services for Zoomlion in India. Speaking on the occasion Mr Patrick
Hei Overseas Business Unit Vice General Manager , Zoomlion said that
there is a huge scope for infrastructure development in India.
Therefore we see a huge market for our products; we are already in the
global market across all Continents with a target of achieving revenue
goal of 50 billion yuan. Depending on the demand for our products,
very soon we are planning of setting up an assembly line in
Universal’s Pune and Rudrapur plant.
After the acquisition of Italy CIFA in 2008, Zoomlion ranks 1st in
world market share of concrete machinery products. Annual production
of mobile cranes is over 5000, annual production of power cranes is
over 2000 and sanitation machinery production is over 3000. Recently
the main products are among the best of market share in china and have
entered global market such as Europe, North America, Middle East,
south Asia, south-East Asia, Australia, Africa and other
