Embarks on a new retail initiative for its Smartphones and tablets

Bangalore, November 11, 2011: Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd, a leading
global mobile phone provider, today announced the expansion of its
mobile phone retail network in Bangalore by setting up seven Samsung
Smartphone Cafes across the city of Bangalore. Located across the
premium locations of Rajajinagar, Malleshwaram, BEL Road, Yehlanka,
Koramanagla, Kamanahalli and Vijanagar, the Smartphone Cafes were
inaugurated by Ranjit Yadav, Country Head, Mobile & IT, Samsung India.

The Samsung Smartphone Café represents a new format in mobile phone
retailing initiated by the Company wherein its provides an interactive
experience for the consumers looking to buy its Smartphones , tablets
and portable PCs. At the Smartphone Cafes , the Company has set up an
exciting display of its smart mobile devices and has on hand trained
demonstrators for explaining the product features to the consumers.
While inaugurating the Company’s new Smartphone Café at Malleshwaram ,
stated Mr Ranjit Yadav , “These new Samsung Smartphone Cafés are a
part of our endeavor to give consumers a richer, more interactive
experience when they come out to buy Samsung Smart Mobile devices like
the Samsung Galaxy Note , Smartphones and tablets at these stores. The
consumers visiting these stores can get a better idea of not just the
Samsung Smart mobile devices but also of the technological features
that truly differentiate these devices. Based on the very positive
response we have received from consumers in other markets, we will
soon be setting up two more Smartphone Cafe in Karnataka .”
