I've done some work on the stroke-order independent search on
kanji.sljfaq.org, and rebuilt the web server. The basic thrust of the work is to remove some of the "Chinese" things which are on
qhanzi.com.
Preliminary work on log analysis suggests that users are switching to the stroke-order-independent search such that the majority of searches on the site are in that format. This has influenced my decision about making that search the default one in the future.
In other news, I've been improving the local kanji dictionary on the
kanji.sljfaq.org. Improvements will be continuing this month at least. I am also considering switching the links on that from the Goo dictionary to a local redirect server.
The redirect server is almost ready to go, but there are some bits which need to be completed. It should be started this week, I hope.
