I've changed the default search on kanji.sljfaq.org to be the stroke-order-independent search. The default search on the older page remains unchanged.

A problem occurred where the method I'd used to check the page failed to work. I've applied a quick fix and it seems to be OK now. I'll look into a better solution in the future.

For some reason I got about 700 errors in the logs just now about a "u" character being sent to the site, I'm not at all sure what happened. The error is not occurring any more though so either this was a transient problem or some buffoon or another sent lots of requests from a script.

This happened again today. It's clearly the work of an individual buffoon. They are using the Jupiter Telecommunications ISP though so I assume it's not our question mark guy from Singapore doing this.
