Hi folks. I'm putting together a self-contained build system in a
virtual machine to make it easy for anyone to build the latest version
without having to worry about having the right versions of libraries
(among other conveniences). I'll be using Vagrant to create it:

http://vagrantup.com/

Using Vagrant requires a specially formatted Ubuntu image which can be
downloaded by following the four line instructions on the site there.
You'll also need to have VirtualBox installed, so... more dependencies
to create fewer dependencies? Just different dependencies, I guess,
and ideally easier to manage.

Thanks David,
This will be useful. If it can build working versions of the SDL1.3 tests for all the target platforms then it should be easy to then put slip.cpp on it later.

Also, a feature request: that it uses anything but the Unity desktop. I'm sure I'd get used to Unity but don't have time for it now.
