Slimstat no longer showing

I'm running slimstat 0.9.4 on WP 2.5.1

I installed the plugin WP-slimstat just to get easy access to some of
the functions from the admin page.

Just today I discovered that the genuine slimstat thinks I have no
data!

I tried to disable WP-slimstat but it made no difference.

I notice that there are two extra tables WP-slim_countries and WP-
slim_stats.

If I delete these, will I get back to a functioning Slimstat? I prefer
that, because of Slimview and other aspects of the data.
