Tonight I downloaded and installed slimDX and I then wanted to run the
examples you share on your homepage.

I have not had any success building the examples. When I just open the
example projects in VS2010 I get a lot of error and warnings. I then
go to the target framework and change from .NET V2.0 to V4.0. and I
end up with the warning:

Warning 1       Found conflicts between different versions of the same
dependent assembly.     SimpleTriangle2D

If I run the build I get an BadImageFormatException. I don't know how
to remedy this behavior!

I then downloaded the tip of the rep using SVN and then I wanted to
build SlimDX myself but Im getting an error saying that I dont have
VS2008 installed (I use VS2010).

I think you SlimDX is what I need for my project so I hope you can
help me get some of the examples working.

Can you please help me getting the examples build and run?

For building from source, I think v1 requires VS2008 still (the 2010
solution is a utility, but a bunch of things still just build with the
VS2008 toolset.

What are the original warnings you get when trying to build the
samples (from the SDK release, I assume?) -- changing the CLR target
to 4 isn't necessarily the correct step, depending on what the issues
are and what you're trying to do.

I think he has to remove slimdx references and re-add them from SDK/bin to match his configuration x64/x86 and .NET v2/v4. He aslo has to rebuild SampleFramework project and re-add references for that too. I'm kinda sure this is problem since i had it 1mount ago with this BadImage error.

P.S: Is he on this mailing-list or should i send to his e-mail?
