Hi all.  Just a quick announcement.  For users on Linux using Debian-derived platforms, including Ubuntu, we now have a very nice installer script courtesy of Bryce Carson, which downloads, builds, and installs both slim and SLiMgui for you.  The use of it is documented in a new revision of the SLiM 3.5 manual, which can be downloaded from http://benhaller.com/slim/SLiM_Manual.pdf or from the SLiM home page.  The title page of the new revision is dated 3 January 2021; if you try to download the new revision and get the original SLiM 3.5 manual instead, you need to clear your browser cache – sometimes a source of confusion.  The new installer is documented in section 2.2.1.  Thanks to Bryce for this very useful contribution!
