Hey Pat and Gang,
First off let me say that I've really enjoyed hanging out and riding the trails with you all over these past years !
The last couple of years our group has ridden less and especially last year I probably only rode my bike 5 times.
For me a juncture came where I had to admit the adventure element of riding the same trails again and again has diminished the fun element and since fewer friends were showing up for rides I too kind of lost interest.
Then there was the knowledge that I had a very expensive bike sitting there loosing value each year.
So blah blah blah, I decided to sell my bike(got $3000 out of it) and move my energy in other
directions.
Cheri and I love Moab and just got back from a week of 4-wheeling there which was fantastic.
Also after selling a $3000 bike , I bought a $170 new cruiser bike. See photos attached. Another kind of fun on 2 wheels !
Anyway I hope to see you all sometime one way or another.
Perhaps if you go downhilling , I will rent a bike and join you for the day.

By any chance do you think you'll have a weekday open when you could be interested in riding the Picture Rock trail? It gets pretty crowded weekends.
This week not so good for me but I don't have much on the calendar the following 2 weeks.
