Slideshare API - Commercial Usage

Hi,

We'd like to use the Slideshare API but it says that it is for non-commercial use only. We have a web application where we would like to leverage the Slideshare API and although our users would not be paying specifically for the slideshare API usage, we do charge our users for the use of our platform. Can we use the Slideshare API or is there a process to be allowed to use it?
