Great application, however I'm having an issue where when I use my programmed keyboard shortcut Alt+Shift+[number] instead of applying my default transition, Slides will create two transitions: A fade out (on click) and Appear (on click).
Issue was present regardless of if I used a number or letter as the final key in the combination.
Alt+Shift+D deletes the last applied transition as intended.
Alt+Shift+R does not seem to be working either.

Chrome ver: Version 124.0.6367.119 (Official Build) (arm64)
OS: Ventura 13.4

Thank you.

Hello!

I'm glad that the extension was helpful in some way - let me try to debug this. Thank you very much for the report!

I'd like to first take a look at what the extension reports as your keyboard shortcuts.

1. Could you paste this URL into a new tab in your browser: chrome-extension://mhdmaokphjlbobmlioagngakkofbchdo/options.html, then,
2. Take a screenshot (or copy and paste) the content in the "Current Features and Keyboard Shortcuts" section. For example, mine looks like this:

3. Similarly, the content of chrome://extensions/shortcuts under the "TurboAnimator" section

While this isn't likely to be the issue, I just want to confirm first that there is no overlap across the reported keyboard shortcuts at the moment.

Also, the issue might be Mac-specific as I've only consistently tested on my combination of Chrome + Ubuntu. In parallel, I'll check the behavior on a Mac.

Hi Kris,

I tried to re-create this on a recent Mac (Sonoma 14.5) on Chrome, using exactly the same keyboard shortcuts as your image. I couldn't re-create the specific issues of (a) double-animation creation (b) unable to delete. However, I was able to observe a different issue where the animation via "default animation" doesn't select the correct animation type. This could be symptomatic of the deeper issue that causes the bugs you observe.

Short term: could you try reinstalling the extension? This will delete any stale settings that might be conflicting with your current ones, causing the double-add. However, I don't expect this to work, since this is just a guess.

On my end: i'm going to:
- Fix the specific issue I saw with incorrect animation type selection, and hopefully that fixes your issue in turn
- Improve the logging capability on the extension, so if the above doesn't work, there'll be an ability for you to send me an error log generated by the extension.

I'll let you know once the latest update is pushed out!
