Good Morning Pack 347,
Fall Encampment is right around the corner.
Here is some important information before you go.
Boys should wear orange t-shirts most of the weekend, however they will need their Class A Uniforms (blue shirt) for Saturday morning. Unfortunately the t-shirt order is not in yet so if you do not have an orange pack shirt it is ok.
Our Camp Site is Comanche (Parking Lot B).
Meal plans with V-Bar are still available deadline is the 15th. We are also doing meals as a pack deadline is the 17th.
Attached:
- Parking Tag -look at the information below and write your campsite and unit information on this before you arrive at camp.
- Map to Camp -Remember it may be dark when you are coming to camp. There is a camp sign at Standard Dedeaux Road and also at V-Bar Road and again when you turn into camp. GPS still does not work very well in getting you to camp so follow the map.
- Map of Camp - it is suggested you NOT unload when you first arrive since check-in is usually at the main lot and then you will be directed to drive to the lot.
- Fall Encampment Guide Book - includes details about the weekend.
Also please let us know if you have a truck with a trailer hitch to pull the pack trailer.

As we get ready for a great weekend of camping at Camp V-bar for Fall Encampment we want to remind all participants of the following: - NO VEHICLES IN CAMPSITES – absolutely no vehicles are permitted beyond the gates and barricades in the parking areas with only the following exceptions:
- Individuals with handicapped parking needs may drive and park at the pool parking lot – vehicles are NOT to be driven back and forth on the property.
- Properly labeled staff vehicles
- A vehicle hauling a unit trailer/unit gear may be allowed to drop the trailer/unload, but the towing vehicle CANNOT remain in the campsite
- A Hancock County Sheriff Deputy will be on site Friday evening and Sunday morning to enforce the parking rules – violators may be towed at their own expense
- A limited quantity of garden carts is available to assist you in hauling gear from the parking lot to your campsite; we STRONGLY recommend bringing your own wagon, cart, or wheel barrow etc to bring personal gear to campsite.
