Hello everybody!
Jacqueline V. Tovar

Jacqueline is the Community Service Learning and Student-Faculty Collaborative Practice Senior Coodinator through the Center for Medical Humanities & Ethics at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. Ms. Tovar received her Bachelors in Health Science Administration at Texas A&M Corpus Christi.
Ms. Tovar works directly with students, faculty, staff and community partners for all service learning projects. The community service learning is a structured learning experience that combines community service with mentored preparation and reflection. Within CSL there are six student-faculty collaborative practice (student-run free) clinics which serve the homeless, LGBTQ+, refugee and substance abuse popultions. This has been a exceptional learning experience that has expanded my way of working in the healthcare field.
Thanks!
