November 26, 2025 Gobble, Gobble The "fowl" weather in San Antonio didn't deter the community from attending our annual turkey box distribution at Guadalupe Community Center! In total, our agency distributed over 550 turkey boxes, including additional deliveries to clients in our Senior Service programs and to those in Del Rio. Over 350 beautifully decorated turkey boxes, stuffed with a turkey, sides, and dessert, were distributed to families in need, thanks to our sponsors, The RK Group, The Gonzaba Foundation, and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. We also appreciate our volunteers from local organizations, including San Antonio Academy, Ernst & Young, Bexar County, San Antonio Area Foundation, Our Lady of Grace, and many more. If you missed out on picking up a turkey box, please visit our St. Stephen's CARE Center food pantry for assistance. Learn More Coming Together As One The Board of Advisors at the Guadalupe Community Center came together to engage in strategic planning to ensure that our neighbors’ needs are addressed and that our programs remain sustainable. As the cold weather arrives, we're working to ensure every child in our neighborhood has what they need to stay warm this winter.
