October 31, 2025 We Are Always Here Catholic Charities is committed to serving the needs of our community. We are always monitoring our environment and adjusting our operations to fit changing needs and demands for our programs and services. We are experiencing a significant increase in our food pantry, related to the government shutdown that impacts federal employees and SNAP benefit recipients. We are here for you. Always. Our food pantry is serving all people Monday through Friday, 9:00 am - 4:00 pm, with basic needs and emergency assistance. We are working on additional support. If you or someone you know are active duty military/federal employee and have been impacted by a loss of wages, we are here for you. We will be distributing prepackaged bags of assorted food items. Our food pantry will be hosting an event Thursday, November 6, 2025 4:00 PM - 7:30 PM St. Stephen’s CARE Center 2127 S. Zarzamora St., San Antonio, Texas, 78207 Please bring your federal personnel identification to receive food pantry assistance at this event. This is a curbside event. Please remain in your vehicle.
