New feature suggest

I love using Slickr, and have been using it for more than a year
already I didn't see a thread for new features so i thought of doing
one...
My suggestion:
I have second monitor that acts as my extended desktop, I would like
to open Slickr (console mode) and put this on my other monitor, the
problem is that if run another application and Slickr is in the
backgound, it pauses until the focus is returned to it. It would be
nice to see it continue running in the background...

I wish to small tweaks....

1) when setting it to use my user's favorites, even though it has
already build a considerably large cache on my hard disk, it doesn't
use it and shows a black screen for the first few minutes while it is
trying to fetch new pictures large enough for my settings... could it
use the cache? Else what is the cache there for?
2) when setting it to use a group pictures is it possible to randomize
them?
3) Can you reduce the min time setting to something like 5 secs
instead of having 15secs as minimum?
