Hi,
Can't seem to get Slickr working on my computer at work (no problems
at home): got the key configured and authorization set up. When the
screen saver kicks in, I can see a message in the lower right corner
"Finding pictures", followed by "Found 20 photos", and then Slickr
gets stuck at "Connecting to Flickr", after that nothing else
happens. Any ideas why (I am going through a proxy)?

I expect your work has flickr firewalled. Can you look at flicker via
a browser?
