Seems that the development has stopped on this tool. I'd like to
figure out some problem and hopefully fix it on my own. After getting
VC C# Express, slickr source code, and depended libraries, I found
that the code doesn't compile with some library I got. I think the
library version I got is too new for the slickr code. Could you
please archive your complete environment to share with us so that we
can build it successfully without wasting too much time on the setup?

Thank you very much.

I was able to get it to build about a year ago.
I'm looking for that setup, but I may have lost it...
Here is what I remember:

Visual Studio 2003! Using ASP.NET 1.1

And I had to dig around for the various support libs.

I may even had just used the ones shiped (and thus already compiled,
which is what I suggest you do) there is no need to be able to compile
the libaries from source to get a reference build.

If I were to work on slickr, the clearest path is this:

Build a reference version using 1.1 then upgrade that to 3.0 at that
point
start dropping the support libaries. Specifically, 3.0 should be able
to
support any graphical display of images which is a big part of what
the
support libaries are used for.
As I remember without looking the system was somewhat disigned to
support a
drop in replacement for the graphical stuff.

Let me know how it is going and if I can be of any more help... the
key
DON'T get the source for the support libaries, just add a reference to
the included
DLLs in the distribution.
oh... and you have to us ASP 1.1
