Does anyone know of a tutorial that's currently out or being worked on for SlickGrid? It is a powerful tool, but nearly useless if you're new to JavaScript programming. I've already read the wiki, source code, and wandered through and through StackOverflow and Google, but the only tutorials I've found were either incomplete or entirely situation (many times, both). We badly need a tutorial for newer programmers.

Steve is right – you’re not struggling with SlickGrid so much; it’s JavaScript that’s causing you trouble.
Don’t give up on SlickGrid! It’s a very powerful tool – more Powerful than you can probably realize right now.
There are many, many JavaScript tutorials online. Focus on understanding JavaScript first, and once you can read it and understand what it’s doing, the examples that Steve pointed you to below will be excellent for you.
I’ve been using SlickGrid for many years now, and I still go back to the examples all the time. If you move up one level in the URL hierarchy that Steve pointed you to, there is a whole host of examples that show all sorts of things that you didn’t even know you needed – until you saw the examples! ;-) http://mleibman.github.io/SlickGrid/examples/
