Hi,

I'm on a search for a calendar / timetable like component for a web application and came across SlickGrid which looks very promising at first glance.

What I'm looking for is a grid where cells can be merged not only horizontally (colspan), but vertically as well so I can put "Days" in the header of the table and a time grid in the left column.

The idea is to have grid lines and cells that (visually) span multiple rows to represent entries in the calendar, something like below.

Or does anyone know a component that would be more suitable for that use?

Not available in vanilla slickgrid but doable in some of the clones (you're looking for rowspan support), e.g. https://github.com/GerHobbelt/SlickGrid/tree/k0stya-rowspan
