I am sure this has been answered before but can't find it. Basically when I choose in options that I want a feed to display 20 max items why do some feeds only show 10 for example even though I have made the limit higher?

Will this be fixed for Slick RSS Pro?/V3?

If you have Slick in managed mode, then you change that value per feed in the manager. If you are using bookmarks, then that value controls all feeds. If you have it setup right and you still only see 10, then there are really only 10. If you view the RSS URL manually you can easily verify it, but each time this comes up, Slick is always right :B

I've got slick set up right. I have each feed set at a different limit. For example i subscribe to the verge rss feed and i know there is more than 10 new posts in a day but it only show me the last 10 even though i have set the limit to 20, 30 and even 40 with all the same outcome.

If you do in fact have it setup right, I'll bet you a happy-meal the rss feed only has 10. What's the URL?

What do you mean that only has 10 feeds? Google Reader shows me many more than 10 new posts...

Slick can only render whatever is CURRENTLY in an RSS feed. So if, you have it check a feed every hour, and a bunch of changes have come and gone, it will still only show you whatever is in the Feed when it checked it.

Sorry bro. V3 uses new Chrome extension options, so it's more like Google Reader where it keeps a running stack of items

Ah so basically Google Reader archives the posts? Glad this will be coming in V3. Any update on ETA?

What about indiegames.com, for example?
On the website, I can click on "older posts" and go back indefinitely, but Slick will only show the last 15. Why won't it go back further?

Here is their RSS feed. Take a look at it.

Notice, it only has 15

sections.
