I tried the volume up/down/both + power button, didn't seem to work, the menu won't show up. I tried flashing it, but it's locked and when I tried to unlock it, writing the code in the emergency dialer didn't do anything too. Additionally, other codes didn't look like working too. No menus showed up.
The Photo Pro app on my Xperia 5 iv doesn't recognise QR codes. The QR Code reader is on and the app is in Basic Mode. I am using Android 13 (Update 64.1.A.0.857). Any help or advice is much appreciated.
Hey TrevorF, thank you for the update. On the screen, try as much as you can to include the 4 corners of the QR code, make the phone steady, and move the came closer and away from it. Let me know how it goes.
Many thanks Hannah. I think it was just the two QR codes that I was trying that were not working. I have since tried a few others and they work okay. I think Photo Pro may have a few issues with recognising codes in different types of media (e.g. on a monitor screen). So I will continue to experiment and feedback here.
I could not scan it, neither with the Camera app, nor with CodeReader. In the Telegram group someone suggested to change the colours (darker, higher contrast) of the photo. CodeReader still could not read it.

I did a factory reset for my Xperia Z1 and added a password to it for security purpose. I was using a different phone for a while and now when i went back to use my Zperia unfortunately I don't recall my password. I have tried doein a hard re-set via button in Sim Slot, PC companion and even the code but it's not working for me

The issue arises because the native configuration of the TV remote, looking at external inputs, is to select 'move one position on from the present position'.
