Hi Had the same issue with Cubase12 crashing loading projects and after some time found it was the native instruments causing the problem. Ended up updating tall of the native instrument plugins and reinstalling some. Fix the issue.

Diva supports the next generation of Native Instruments NKS technology to optimize integration with the latest NI Kontrol keyboards as well as Maschine and other Komplete Kontrol hardware. For further information go to native-instruments.com

Diva captures the spirit of various analogue synthesizers by letting the user select from a variety of alternative modules. The oscillators, filters and envelopes closely model components found in some of the greatest monophonic and polyphonic synthesizers of yesteryear. But what sets DIVA apart from other emulations is the sheer authenticity of her analogue sound. This comes at the cost of quite a high CPU-hit, but we think it was worth it: Diva is the first native software synth that applies methods from industrial circuit simulators in realtime.

Diva models five different filters found in classic hardware synthesizers. All filters have modulation options and the traditional cutoff and resonance controls, but each has its character, quirks and options.

With three oscillators, Triple VCO is the largest of the oscillator panels. Waveform shape selection is continuous rather than discrete: choose ramp, triangle, sawtooth, square or any position inbetween for hybrid shapes. Try out frequency modulation (FM), oscillator sync, waveform modulation for striking tones. Use feedback to route post-filter sound back into the oscillator mixer for effects ranging from mild bass boost to subharmonics / low-frequency howling.

A bit simpler than the Triple VCO, but still extremely capable. Multiple waveforms can be activated per oscillator for rich and diverse sounds. Pulse width modulation (PWM), sync and cross modulation (FM) are available. Select one of three hardware revisions for different characteristics.

DCO This is the only single oscillator model in Diva, but a few special tricks make it a worthy addition. The oscillator is multi-wave, summing four sources: pulse, sawtooth, suboscillator and noise, so the final sound can still be quite complex. Try the DCO whenever you need a crisper sound than the other analogue oscillators provide.

Dive into the Modifications panel for more modulation options and an opportunity to push Diva into more experimental and unusual territories. Modulation processors such as Invert, Add, Quantize and Lag open up fresh ideas for manipulating Diva. These capabilities take Diva beyond the original hardware that inspired it.

Digital Performer 11 Digital Performer 11 is an upgrade to Mark of the Unicorn's (MOTU's) well-known digital audio workstation (DAW). Among the new features are Articulation Maps, Retrospective Record, support for MIDI Polyphonic Expression (MPE), a redesigned Nanosampler plug-in, as well as support for macOS Big Sur and native compatibility with silicon Macs.

The new Articulation Maps feature is designed for use with sound libraries that have multiple articulations available for instruments. Users can now create or import articulation maps that produce expressive instrument and ensemble performances. Articulations can be mapped to a symbol in Digital Performer's QuickScribe notation editor and each articulation can trigger multiple kinds of output.

This new edition of Digital Performer can also be used with MPE MIDI controllers. It records notes as standard MIDI notes with encapsulated MPE expression data. The user can view recordings as a stream of MIDI notes with controllers superimposed on top of each note and edit them in the piano roll view. Alternatively, each controller can be viewed and edited in a separate lane using the application's tools for editing continuous controllers. The amount of expression used can be increased or decreased using a new Scale tool. A new Retrospective Recording function for audio and MIDI has also been added. This allows users to recall an audio or MIDI sequence that they have recently played even if they didn't record it.

Nanosampler is a virtual instrument in Digital Performer that can be loaded with a mono or stereo audio file for sampling. The plug-in has been updated to version 2.0 and, along with a new UI, it now has three playback modes (Classic, 1-Shot, and Slice), ZTX time stretching, repeat, reverse, and a beat slicing feature with randomize and auto randomize functions.

Individual clips or entire scenes can now be triggered by pad controllers such as Novation's Launchpad Pro mk3 or Akai's APC-40. New control surface plug-ins for integration with Native Instruments and Icon controllers have also been included. Digital Performer's EuCon plug-in has also been updated and can now be used with EuCon-compatible devices on Windows 10 and with Avid's S6 console. Support for Mackie MCU- and HUI-compatible control surfaces has also been improved, with automation toggling, scrub modes, send mode, and loop toggle.

Other new features include a live performance mode in which effects processing is carried out in real time, multichannel MIDI recording on a single track, enhanced filter viewing to hide/show MIDI channel data, quantization on MIDI tracks and clips, a non-destructive transpose on audio and MIDI tracks, chunk folders and playlists for organizing sequences and songs into folders and playlists, a chunk list management feature, and dynamically resizable channel strips.

This latest version of Digital Performer is compatible with Apple's silicon Macs and with macOS Big Sur. It is optimized for native multicore performance, prioritizes audio threads on high-speed cores, and keeps central processing unit (CPU) bandwidth for critical, time-sensitive processing. The application is available for macOS 10.13 and later versions and for Windows 10 (64-bit).

Bitwig has announced the release of a new version of their Bitwig Studio DAW. The application, which is available for Linux, macOS, and Windows, supports 192-kHz sample rates, 32-bit floating point processing, provides an unlimited number of audio, instrument, hybrid, effects, and groups tracks, an unlimited number of Virtual Studio Technology (VST) plug-ins, along with instruments, effects, modulators, and support for MPE.

New additions to Bitwig Studio 4 include comping for audio clips, a new set of operators to change the chance and recurrence of notes or audio events, Random Spread for expression points, and support for Apple silicon Macs.
