Ilooked over some old videos with metin2. People going in groto2, with arrow res no lightening res and at lv 75, and they were doing just fine. Also in beta maps, killing metins easily, and now we have all the elemental resistance and everything became harder. You can't kill metins where you need earth resistance, or ice. Groto2 became harder, but now we have costumes...but here is the problem. Costumes became mandatory. You can't hunt in high lvl maps without costumes, and how stupid is that? I for example have 60 wind from items, so I am missing just 5% on my bracelet but also have +30% wind on costumes. Without costumes I just die in forest or ochao temple, so wtf is this? you make the game harder only to make more money? some maps are just unplayable without costumes and also costumes are not always in itemshop. This is just a really bad game mechanic, having to pay DC just to play the game, not talking about killing top bosses, but only play the game.
You also forget about low drop rate. Without minimum one glove from the game but in most of the cases you need also the one from the IT is pointless to go farming on metin stones or bosses. I think i've smashed around 300 metins stones in Beta in the past two days without even dropping an stone +4. No wonder everything have doubled. Low drop rates, no events (or events where you need 2 gloves to drop something. Good example was the moonlight event from last night. What a joke that was!). After that, another year passes and they announce another merge, because most of the players that have started to play during this year have quit the game before even beginning to properly play the game or be hooked. 0 vision from the ones which are in charge of this game. They only pursuing short-term gains without thinking about how to expand the game globally. Sad reality.
You don't have to spend any real money to obtain outfit skin, hat skin, weapon skin. I've been buying these things for months for yang because there are people who are happy to buy these things for real money and sell to other players for yang. Same with other things like battle boar, chests with companions like porky/khan, etc. you can have all of it without spending real money. Even if something from the itemshop is not tradable/marketable and the only way is to buy it from there by yourself, you can always buy dc vouchers for yang. The game is a business so there always will be itemshop and some controversy around it.
please look with glass in jinoh and tell me if you find any male costume 30d and weapon skin, there are times when there are no costumes in itemshop, and costumes have become mandatory for high lvl maps, starting with groto
You make it sound like wons are growing in trees. What if you a life, a job, a family, there will days when you can't enter on game, how you will going to produce yangs? To really be able to use stuff that are in IT? Wwithout investing real money, you have to spend a few good hours daily. And yes everyone knows that is a business, but a business can go bankrupt if failed policies are apply continuos.
the game is not meant to just be easy. If everything is easy you'll be bored in a week and quit anyway. For players who can't spend money the solution is to work hard from the start to collect a set of 20% yang drop items them when you have this set you get one 50dr voucher and buy the third hand from item shop and set your character on auto hunt and go about your busy life. The character can farm yang for you and you do nothing. The longer you leave him farming the more yang you will have and you do no work. Your problem is solved
Sure, but look at the following scenario. Maybe I left metin2 in 2010, let's say with sura lvl 75 p skills and all that. Items with arrow res, and I was killing everything in G2 with ease, and now I return to my same account, and I am like wtf, I can't even kill 5 teams, what happened? My items are the same...
Things are more clear with bonuses and other functions in the game. Took me about a year to catch up. Don't really need costumes now, usually get it for the 50 attack value, HP or 12str or whatever nice comes first on it.
As I said, 10 years ago you could go g2, farm with arrow res on you, with ease, now you need lightening. Maps lower than groto, you don't need costumes, I have sura with P skills lvl 90 biolog full, and needed full costum + wep skin + talisman to do something in g2
I played on the beta server where beta maps where added, well that really was a amazing map and content, with all the mobs and items, animations and all of that, I bow to the metin2 team that made that map, and now what did we get?
Elemental realm added last year. Such a bad map, mobs and animations. For a company that makes so much money, to implement that? Give me week and I can do the same mobs, maps and animations in Unity...You can't even compare this with beta maps, is not even a contest.
It's not harder xD It's just finally has its proper purpose. Elemental defences have always been there but never used, or no one actually knew what those defences were used for. So to come back and see that I have a 15 light, 20devil bracelet from whenever years ago and know that it's not a complete waste of my money is quite a relief lol.
I have recently purchase a hp pavillon 14-bf101np. It as the integrated graphic card (intel 620hd) and the NVIDIA Geforce 940mx. The laptop when running games , runs perfectly cs go. But when i run minecraft , only works with the integrated graphic card, and running metin2 gives me a error of Metin2.Create_no_appropriate_device. I've tried the incompatible option of windows , i have updated my drivers , i have went to performance option in windows and tried all of them, also tried do uninstall the game and re-intall it ... all of this , and still nothing works...
Did you know this device isn't designed for gaming but for everyday computing?
(Keeping in mind the basic needs of an average user surfing the internet or using it for normal tasks as such).
That said, I'm afraid your HP Pavilion 15 is not designed for gaming, it's purpose is everyday computing and hence I would request you not to overload the computer with HD games such as the ones you've mentioned as this computer cannot handle it, to know about HP Laptops designed for gaming: Click here
You could try reducing the resolution on the in-game settings and switch the windows settings to performance rather than visual effects to make a minor change, however, the game may heat up your PC, hence make sure you are using a cooling pad as well, to be on a safer side.
Hi, I have a problem with a mmorpg called metin2, basically the game interface is too small if you use too high a resolution like 4k. I thought about using dgVoodoo to fix this problem, but I can't get it to work with this game. Does anyone know if there is any way to resolve this. Thanks in advance.
What's exactly the issue? Sacrifice has similar problem with UI scalling. The higher set in-game resolution the smaller UI becomes, but if you set up low resolution within the game, and high resolution within dgvoodoo then it doesn't look bad and has big UI(although there is difference in field of view a little if you compare 1920x1080 achieved through a mod, and any vanilla 4:3 resolution stretched to 1920x1080).
Hi, yes I scaled the resolution of the game to 1080p, while on the dgVodoo application I set the resolution to 4k, unfortunately however when starting the game the resolution remains in full HD, and as if the program is not detected.
I downloaded metin2. used config.exe and changed resolution to 1280x720. I dropped 4 .dll files from MS/x86 folder from dgvoodoo .zip file into the folder with that config.exe then I configured it to use D3D12 and FHD(because that's my max resolution). dgvoodoo works, but it does not stretch the image to fullscreen(in windowed mode), and it does resolution swap to 720p in fullscreen. If I turn off monitor at this point and turn it back on it does switch resolution to 1080p, but if I alt-tab then when I get back into the game, I get yet another resolution swap in fullscreen mode.
