Seaof Flame II is a remake of the first map of the series, which was showing its' age, and really needed an update. Sea of Flame II contains all new locations and areas, and will be great fun for new people to the series, and also Super Hostile veterans.

This map is a network of linked underground caverns. The map takes place entirely underground, and the whole thing is wrapped in a giant cube of bedrock (no escape!) This was the first map of the series where I introduced the Victory Monument goal system. To me, it has a very "Super Metroid" or "Castlevania: Symphony of the Night" feel to it.

(This map is old, and is scheduled for a complete remake, "Canopy Carnage II". Not just an update, but a completely new map, but with the same style and theme. You might want to play another map instead of this one.)

A dark, brutal world of nothing but despair. Voted for and requested by the community, this map starts out brutal and stays that way. Unlike Legendary, in which the difficulty gradually increased the farther you got into the map, Nightmare Realm is the real deal from the very second you load into the map.

The map reminds me a little of the old NES Megaman games. Your spawning area is a central hub, from which you can access the other areas of the map, which surround it. There are many paths and routes you could take from the start, and don't be afraid to unzip fresh copies of the map to try a new starting strategy.

Oh man, things have been rough for awhile. Are you tired of dying every 5 seconds? Do feel like you need a vacation? Do you need your hot heart chilled with a cool island song? Oh no wait, I mean... cool heart warmed with a hot island song? Or was it... Bah, whatever.

This is the first Super Hostile map made from the ground up supporting enchanting and brewing, and the first map created after the armor changes in Minecraft 1.0. Expect wonderful loot, enchanted items, potions, and plenty of monsters to put your awesome items to use against!

This map features shuffling, of chests, spawners, and the Victory Monument. Each letter variant (a, b, c, and d) is the same, but the loot chests and spawners have been randomized. The Victory Monument is also in a different location in each variant. Now, if you are watching a LP of one variant, you can play another and have a different experience.

Explore the vast mining operation left behind by a team of miners and explorers. Deep underground, a huge network of caves, tunnels, and massive chasms contains treasure, adventure, and extreme dangers. Defeat all-new enemies made possible with the Minecraft 1.5 update, and venture even deeper into areas no human has tread for thousands of years.

Based on a short story of the same name by Andrea J. Buchanan, this CTM map is a wicked and challenging experience, which has been officially adopted as part of the Super Hostile series. Fans of Kaizo Caverns and Spellbound Caves will really enjoy this map. But, fair warning, it's very difficult.

This map is currently under construction. Endless Deep used to occupy the #2 slot of Super Hostile, however I want to give that spot to my upcomming Fallen Kingdom map. Instead, Endless Deep will have the #2 spot on my Mini Hostile series, and be a shorter map taking place in an underwater fortress.

My first multiplayer Super Hostile map. Two teams race against each other to complete a miniature Victory Monument! They play on mirror-image lanes, and can shoot at each other, and also trigger traps that will go off on the enemy teams lane! Please be sure to read the included README file for full details and rules.

My second multiplayer Super Hostile map. Two teams race against each other to complete a miniature Victory Monument! This map is more heavily focused on direct combat than the first RFW map, and has many TNT cannons and bow and arrow supplies to blast the other team. Please be sure to read the included README file for full details and rules.

My first "Capture the Wool" map. Two teams share one large lane, starting on either side. Teams try to retrieve their wool colors from the enemy territory, while the enemy team does the same. Expect frantic, direct, PVP action!

The jungle floor in Canopy Carnage II is going to be.... well... this map! I think it's really nice looking, so I figured some of you may enjoy it as a basic survival map before I make it into a crazy hostile super jungle.

Say you want to play Vech's Super Hostile map "Waking Up". Welp, load up the world on your server. You may use Multiverse to do so (I do), however you choose to do so is beyond the scope of this plugin, but do so :P

Once loaded up, simply issue the following command to enable CTMSocial listening for that map:/ctm world enable WakingUp This obviously assumes you named your map WakingUp. I recommend naming it something simple, and one word with no spaces (although it should work with them)

Welp, that's it! Start playing! If you bork the map and decide to start over with a fresh copy, simply do /ctm world reset WakingUp. This will completely forget all the stats for the world so you can start over.

There will undoubtedly be compatibility issues with CTM maps because there is no universal standard for the Victory Monument. I'd like to support as many maps as I can without hindering the accuracy of the plugin. If you find a map that this plugin doesn't work for, I will do my best to add support if feasible. I plan to do a lot more testing

Found wool event is fired when a player opens a chest with a colored wool in it for the first time. It's unlikely that this event will fire inaccurately unless the map contains sheep, in which the white wool event may fire incorrectly if a player opens a chest containing white wool.

The victory monument event is a bit more in depth. For this event to fire, the block must be placed on glass, and the wool/block must have a wall sign directly above it with text corresponding to the block type. My plugin currently looks for signs with the following text for blocks:

If you'd like to make your VM compatible with this plugin, just make sure the bottom block is glass, and there is a wall sign directly above it with the text I've listed above. (I can also update the plugins dictionary to look for signs that may be worded slightly differently. If this is the case, please let me know.)

I plan on providing an API for the two events my detection plugin fires, but this hasn't been started yet. This will be so other plugins can easily hook into my VM detection code and perhaps give the players potions or items (whatever really) when my plugin detects the event.

This plugin looks very good. If my server was a 1.3.1 I'd definitely download this. I dont see this as being for huge servers since this is for Vech Super Hostile maps or maps made like his, but this would be great for private servers. I dont know anything about coding but this could be more widely used if you could also set what blocks you use for the VM. Anyway I hope Vechs gets back to you and i hope you keep up the good work. :DAlso i have a question about the super hostile maps on multiplayer servers, do the battle signs work for anyone else or do they not have sign enchantments in multiplayer?

My stance on this plugin right now is that it's essentially dead. I've tried to contact Vechs himself three times with no response at all, so I'm assuming he's just not at all interested in the idea of this.

A small idea/suggestion regarding the (White) Wool false positives: Have you considered adding those non-goal chests containing white wool to a ignore list (based on chest coordinates?)? You could check for such a chest based on when the player opens a chest and has white wool in his inventory or when the player is placing the wool in the chest.

Or maybe more generally: a chest is added to the ignore list when it is first opened. (_After_ first checking the 'found wool' event.) Meaning that if the chest contained wool when it was opened AND the chest is not on the ignore list, then it is a legit wool chest.

Me, Ethan, and Purechaos123 were playing Super hostile spellbound caves. So when we had to go to the Nether to get a certain wool. Purechaos123 hit a zombie pigmen. So we lost all of our stuff and died. So we had to make new stuff because of Purechaos123. Yep... that's what this wallpaper is making fun of.

Mildred glanced round the room. At the far end there were windows, through which one saw the shredded stem and drooping branches ofa large plane tree, all transparent green and fiery orange now inthe sunlight of a September afternoon; near the window at the otherend there was a cage with a somnolent grey parrot; a singularlyclean white cat lay stretching itself lazily on the seat of achintz-covered chair; and everywhere there showed the neatness andorder as well as the prettiness and taste that are only possiblein rooms altogether free from the disturbing presence of clumsyman. Mildred, feeling more and more enervated, spoke admiringly butabruptly.

She was really a very charming, well-bred, elegant woman; and onceupon a time, a long while ago, when those eyes of hers were fullof brightness and lustre, when her sensitive lips were redder, when her pale unwrinkled cheeks had permanent colour instead ofthe fitful pinkness that now came and went so delicately, she musthave been quite good-looking. Possibly she might then have beenfascinating also. Her hair was really good, dark and strong, rolledin bulky waves about her forehead and in a lump at the back of herneck.

Naturally she offered a strong contrast to the very modern younglady of twenty sitting on one of the sofas, playing with hergauntlet gloves, and brimming over with youthfulness and ardentirrepressible life.

Mildred looked very pretty in her scant frock, low bodice, andshort sleeves; after the manner of modern girls seeming, perhaps,a little commonplace or ordinary because so like so many others ofher class and years, at once doll-like and self-possessed, shrewdand yet innocent. She was, or at least believed herself to be,entirely modern; although at the moment occupied with elementalthings.
