HeyI love this and have been using it a lot, I did find something however. So when you add orbs using the cheat and close the game, as soon as you open the game all the orbs (and the things you bought with the orbs) disappear. I would love it if you fixed this issue.

so in my game geo dash(cant spell geometry wait?) when i exit the game everything saves but my avatar like the different skins like the spider skin and not default wont save, like i buy something with orbs i hacked in i use the skin i save my account them boom i get back on but my skin wont stay so i have to hack in the orbs AGAIN and go back to the store and buy it again. same witht he trails and death effects. please help

Is there a way i can decrease my stars and coins in geometry dash. I accidentally have increased my amount of coins, stars etc. and I get random achievemenets on steam that i want to unlock without cheats

Just a heads up this thread is mostly for myself to sort out my thoughts and will be really confusing to anyone who isn't familiar with the Geometry Dash community. Feel free to read it anyways if you want though.

I've been playing geometry dash since the age of 7, which is over half of my life now that I think about it. Of the 8 years I've had the game, almost 7 of them have been in update 2.1. Of course this has me really excited for a new update, because in just a few weeks we'll finally be getting one.

2.2 is gonna be a massive update given how long its been in the works, and that has me both excited and scared. For one thing it's gonna revolutionize the creating scene, but it's also gonna make it so much more inaccessible. It already is with how high the rate standards are but now even established creators are gonna have to learn an almost entirely new editor. This was seen as an issue with the release of 2.0 and 2.1 (I started playing in 2.0), but those got resolved after a couple months of each update being out. This however, adds a lot more stuff than both of those updates combined.

Another concern I have is platformer mode. I'm not really super big on platformers myself, so I'm scared that this will have a big impact on the game and make it less fun. Well it's true I could just ignore it, I'd rather be a more well rounded gd player who can do everything instead of being, for example, wave and ship carried. While platformer mode is something else entirely it'll still have steam achieved tied to it probably, and those are steam achievements I want to get.

Finally I'm kind of worried about the top player scene. I'm not a top player myself since my hardest is only an insane demon but I definitely enjoy keeping up with it. For a while, top players have been using an fps bypass hack to change the physics of their game. Typically players will bypass to 360 hz since that's the highest fps the demon list will allow records at. In 2.2 though, the fps is gonna be the equivalent of 240 hz for everyone, bypass or not. That's because the thing that matters is the physics change the higher refresh rate brings, so if the physics are always the same refresh rate becomes irrelevant. The problem here is that now all the levels that have only been beaten on 360 hz physics are gonna be wayyy harder to re verify on 240 hz physics, therefore lowering the games skill cap. Don't get me wrong, players can still do crazy things on 240, people have just become reliant which is now an issue. As for me this is an upgrade since I play on 165 hz and don't bypass but I'm curious to see how this pans out.
