The package review for including sleep in Fedora:

https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=750902

is still hung up waiting for clarification on the following licensing issue:

License type: LGPLv2

Issue:
Some source files contain BSD license statements.
Some files contain the following:
This software is distributed under the artistic license.

Any hope of this getting addressed? Thanks!

Hi Orion,
My apologies that I didn't address this sooner. It fell off my radar.
I've updated the Sleep distribution on the site to sleep21-lgpl.tgz.
This packages updates each source file with a proper LGPL header and
removes references to the artistic license.

I've moved the project over to Google code as well. Berlios has been
pretty dead for a few years now.

As for the BSD licensed file, there is one that I am aware of. Sun
created a JSR adapter for Sleep in 2006. I included it in Sleep and
took over the maintenance of it.

Argh, I am tired. By JSR adapter, I mean a javax.script adapter. It's
forever burned in my mind as JSR 223. I feel like I stepped out of a
Java time machine into 2012. It's different out here. Still too much
XML, but what can one do? <G>

This is looking good, thanks! One item left:

- In ./src/sleep/engine/Step.java there is:

Changelog:

* This software is distributed under the artistic license, see license.txt
for more information. *

I think that should be fine. Thanks!
