Hi,
as I already 'complained' in the previous thread that I'm waking up before the alarm I want to propose another feature - "turn off alarm for today" - from the list of the alarms we can disable selected alarm but only for today (i.e. prior to the alarm time); why? because we are aware that we are already woken up and won't be needing the alarm (nor going to another room to scan the code while in the middle of work for example) but we don't wan't to forget to set the alarm for the next day.

Hello Wojtek,

thanks a lot for opening this issue again. We are aware this is an issue, but we don't want to introduce something which would cause another confusion.

We will consider your proposal for disabling the alarm only for today.

Thank you very much.

Best regards,

Petr

As an alternative I propose the following feature. A checkbox in the alarm settings which enables this alarm to be disabled when the previous alarm has been killed (in a certain timeframe). For example, you kill the first alarm in the morning and then all consecutive alarms in, say, 1 hour timeframe become disabled.

I think that this solution is a bit cumbersome (what if you kill the alarm unconsciously but still desired to be woken up by the next alarm (sidenote: I don't get his setting of a bunch of consecutive alarms...).

Another thing - what you propose is rather quite different from what I want. I only have one alarm for a day (it was usually 7am) but recently I started to get up way before it so it is a bit of work to disable it and then remember to re-enable it. And With your approach there is no previous alarm that would enable the trigger/kill all the subsequent alarms.

Hello guys,

the new beta release at https://sites.google.com/site/sleepasandroid/beta-release brings an option to "Turn off alarm today" for repeating alarms which are scheduled for today. We hope this is a good compromise which was quite a clear interpretation and makes the life easier when you wake up before the alarm.

Thank you very much.

Best regards,

Petr

Thanks a million!
However - I cannot find mentioned option (I was looking only in long-tap menu and main-screen option)
