AutoAlarm?

Hey I'm trying to do some home automation and trigger a light wakeup/sunrise 30 mins before the alarm goes off. I know that one of the features of Sleep as Android, is that it wakes you up when it's ideal and I'm sure there isn't any trigger or data set for when it decides when it will ring the alarm, for me to work with. But I'd be happy if it could just start 30 mins before the scheduled alarm.

AutoAlarm is software that gives me access to these variables in tasker to do what I need. But Sleep as android is not showing up as a system alarm so there is no data for autoalarm to work with.

My question is, is there intent or variables I can use natively in tasker? Or is there a way to make Sleep as Android a system alarm?

Hello David, 

please note that SaA can be fully automated using Tasker or any similar software as described here https://sites.google.com/site/sleepasandroid/doc/developer-api. You can capture the even when we trigger smart alarm and hook what ever you need.

Just a side note here we now also support smart light alarm and other features through Philips HUE.

Regarding AutoAlarm, I'm not sure what you are referring to. We implement all the alarm system integration we know of. So we provide the system standard method of creating an alarms. We use the system's alarm icon in status bar, but I'm not sure what do you mean by system alarm.

What I'm more looking for, is to trigger something 30 mins out from when an alarm will go off. Yes I've already got some automation going once the alarm is triggered but I want to trigger something 30 mins before that alarm trigger happens. (or even just 30 mins before I've set the alarm to go off). Autoalarm is a 3rd party plugin for tasker, it reports back to tasker the time the next alarm will take place so with those variables you can make all kinds of "pre"alarm tasks. But it only works for  android OS system alarms and doesn't seem to work with 3rd party alarms for android. 

Your hue integration is the main point of what I'm trying to do (though there is a few z-wave devices i'm also trying to rope into this) I know you guys just starting adding HUE as a feature request it would be great to select multiable hue bulbs, So I can make my whole room light up, not just the one bulb by my bed.
