to Sleep as Android
Didn't see anything like this previously posted.  I'm still testing Sleep as Android on a trial basis.  I first used it in conjunction with a Samsung smart watch (but the battery impact was kinda high).

So when Sonar was added in a recent upgrade I was psyched.  I disabled the smart watch link.  Lullaby has always been off.  But about 15 mins after starting sleep with Sonar active, the phone (a rooted Samsung Note 3 running 4.4.4) music starts blaring!  And I find that at least one other music app (usually ArmAmp or Rhapsody/Napster) has been started and is playing at full volume (because Sonar has maxed the volume).

The only conditions that cause this scenario is running Sleep As Android with Sonar on...

Am I missing a setting somewhere?  Are there any other of similar reports?

Hello,

many thanks for the report. This is because you use sonar. Sonar needs the music stream to emit ultrasonic signal, if you lower volume you also lower intensity of sonar. This is why we added a separate volume settings for lullabies, you need to set your lullaby volume upfront and let the music volume maintained by the sonar. Sorry for the limitation.

Thank you very much.

Petr – Thank you for your response.  However lullabies are NOT activated, so the application should not play any music.  The application (using Sonar) seems to be activating a music application and then playing music… this happens after about 15 minutes after Sleep is started.

I can run a logcat if necessary. - J

Hello, I never had this reported, can you try to start sleep tracking when you are no awake and see what is actually happening, maybe some music app gets activated as we touch your system volume, but my quick theory, but I guess you would find out more if you look at the your phone when this happens...

Thank you very much.
