Hi all,

I've been using it for a while and this app is awesome! But I'm having a problem with the power nap feature in smart period setting when scheduling new alarm. Despite the description in the update log and a few thread on this fourm I'm still very confused.

So I normally take a ~40 mins nap at noon besides the normal sleep at night, and would like to wake up on/before 13:30, but if I schedule an alarm on 13:30 and choose the smart period to power nap, the actual alarm is scheduled on 14:29 and I found no matter what time I set it's always 59mins after the "alarm"(or is it a real alarm in this settings?) I totally don't get the "minimum time you like to sleep" part. So can anyone help me how I should actual set the app? Thank you in advance.

Hello,

in your situation please do not use power nap but rather some suitable smart period. If you know you would like to wake up at 13:30 at latest use a smart period of 30 minutes and alarm will wake up between 13:00-13:30 for example. Power nap is for situations when you don't have an latest wake up time. For example if you like to wake up after a finished sleep cycle some time later on after 13:30.

Thank you very much.

Best regards,

Petr

Thank you for clean that up(and sorry for this late reply). So maybe you should consider making 'power nap' an option when scheduling alarm like 'nap', rather than a setting in smart period after schedule the alarm time, so it won't confuse people like me:)

Thank you again and keep up the good work!

Hello,

in fact power nap may be perfectly suitable also for regular alarms not just for naps. That's why this option is in general in smart wake up settings. Some lucky :) people don't have a strict wake up schedule and don't need to be at work at a certain time. I use power nap more for may weekend alarms for example.

Thank you very much.

Best regards,

Petr
